@Hubzilla Support Forum This sounds great! So the correct way to install this is to copy your addon folder and its content into hzaddons via FTP - or is there a more "official" way somewhat?

@Hubzilla Support Forum Actually no, copying the addon folder into extend/addon/hzaddons doesn't work here. Instead i had to copy it directly into addon folder at the root level, where usually only symlinks are found. Hmm.

What a useful thing, i dreamt about this for three years.

Now I am wondering @Admin - are the permissions of copypasted images always set according to the context?

I have a couple of questions: which license is this published under, and what are your plans for maintaining it?

I also second @Der Pepe (Hubzilla) ⁂'s suggestion of creating a git-repo for it. And I'm happy to help if you need any assistance with that.
