Test-drive 142 different monospace fonts. These are designed for programming, but may be useful anywhere you need a monospace font that is easily readable (or looks like a low-resolution 1980s PC display!):

Heh, I just looked at most of them, and stuck with the Ubuntu Mono that I've been using for years! Fun way to waste a lot of time, though. :-)

Yeah, I didn't see anything I felt I need to have today - and only about 3 or 4 that I felt I could use regularly without cussing.

Only if I can have a monochrome amber monitor to go with it.

Mononoki seems okay. I like the numbers from Gintronic, but I don't like the rest of the characters in that font.
I usually have some very specific criteria for programming fonts.
Zero should have a slash through it or a dot in the middle of it.
Lowercase l and uppercase I and the number 1 should be sufficiently different.
I prefer the lowercase l to have a little hook at the bottom.
Bonus if numbers like 3, 5, 7 and 9 have tails that dip below the baseline (like the letters q and g and y). That makes long numbers a bit easier to read, in my opinion.
And it should be easy on the eyes and not pixelated.
I have yet to find a font that has all of these in one.
