Option to restrict a post to same server?

Do we, does #Hubzilla have an option to restrict a post scope to the same server, that means the server, where the post comes from?

This could help with larger, specifically interested userbases on the same server.

Example: chaos . social, which is a Mastodon server. Mastodon does not have that option i just heard.

@_jayrope there is a addon which you can use for that use case

and

also you can configure the custom channel role that posts are published by default to only "Jeder auf dieser Webseite"

@𝓒𝓱𝓻𝓲𝓼 oh. The description doesn't sound like it would work on just one post, but would separate the whole server from the grid. Have you tried this?

@_jayrope Yes this addon option works just for ALL posts off all accoaunts/ channels of a hub ...

The Channel Role option works also with privates groups and with channels on other hubs... but you lose the option to post to the public.

for that set the Channel Role to "Custom"

/settings

than go to

/settings/privacy

and configure

"Can view my channel Stream and Post"

to

"Anybody on this Website"

now all your post are just visible to the account on your HZ HUB

OR

to the members of a privat Group you post to.
