delete old posts
under /admin/site/
i changed
"Expiration period in days for imported (grid/network) content"
from "0" to "7"
Will be old post form the past be deleted automatically -and how long is this posses suppose to take ?

I am an entirely unsure if that works for your own posts (i think not), but in general this should delete posts automatically quite well, given that the one standard cron job is set up properly. For your own posts to self delete it might be possible to setup an expiry date upon posting. Admittedly i've forgotten how that works. Hope it helps nevertheless.

In site/admin the setting "Expiration period in days for imported (grid/network) content" is for incoming posts, so only what you received from your followers.
To expire and delete your own posts, I think it is only possible from individual posts.
Yes, posts are cleaned I think at 00:00 UTC daily using system.cron_hour, at least that's what I've observed on mine. It's quick, less that 1 minute, again on mine.

thanks - just interested to delete post received from followers... over night some space on the disc was freed... but i canĀ“t imagine that this should be all... there should be more... let's see what will happen in the next days...

see not much happen... have the feeling that just posts from 7 days ago get deleted... but not all the posts for the last year

That's possible. My cron job here runs every 10 mins, not every day once. @
