Feature request / Suggestion for improvement - Registration form
At yesterday's (German-speaking) Fediverse talk, in which I took part for the first time and presented Hubzilla, I was made aware of "problems" by some users that I was not so aware of myself.
One of the participants in the language conference wanted to create an account on my hub on the way. In doing so, he failed to switch "I am over 13 years of age and accept the Terms of Service for this website" to "Yes". So he ended up back in the registration form, but didn't know what the problem was. In this case, there is no indication of the error (e.g. "Please confirm age and acceptance of the terms of service."), as happens, for example, if you enter an invalid e-mail address or the password does not meet the requirements.
In my opinion, it would be advisable if the user were also made aware of the error in this case.
Especially because there are apparently quite a few people who can't really cope with the widget of a toggle/slider switch (I personally can't understand this, but I have observed it time and again and have also read about it). The user in my example assumed that he would select ‘No’ when he clicked on the switch because it said "No".
