The site seems to work fine, looks good! There are no download links - I assume that's deliberate? it's streaming only...

Hey Keef, i am adding the download options today at some point. Need to figure out first, how to get around uploading gigabytes, when only changing little things. Am on it.

it's vaguely complex but you might want to take a look at "rsync" for that if you have ssh access to the destination server...

i do have ssh access, but being a 1st time rsync user i want to ask: would you have a typical rsync command incl. necessary flags writing/syncing my local contents of faircamp_build into the remote server? I cd'd into my local directory already... anytime it fits :)

Here's what I use, paraphrased. I run this on my local machine, from the same place I run faircamp.
You can do 'rsync -avn [....]' to do a test run. Then remove the 'n' when it looks right.
Obviously change the user, hostname, and destination path to match your own.
The destination here is the full path to the folder - I don't know how your host is set up but it might be something like /home/<user>/www/mysite.com
rsync -av .faircamp_build/* user@example.org:/path/to/destination

Looks do-able. There's an RSS 2 (yuk, but workable) feed pointing to pages with a predictable DOM containing lists of audio entries containing the URLs. Pretty easy to scrape. But this would be easier if each page had its own RSS feed and/or Atom and/or ActivityStreams feed. Is it open or closed source?

- federation would be phantastic! Faircamp is essentially a static site generator.

faircamp runs in the HZ Cloud... just few links have to be adopted so that the index.html pages load
with the support of HZ faircamp could become a working social network ... without that faircamp is more or less "just" an other music presentation blog-software which looks like bandcamp but is missing the main component - the network functionality

I disagree. Becoming part of the webring is very nice networking in an original way actually. Just not the way you are used to as a BC user. But that isn't the idea of it. And as a Fediverse user, the close attachment to here is already networking, because you do it yourself.

Creating an addon that displays the static pages wouldn't be that hard. The harder part would be the federation angle.
And when you are integrating two pieces of software, using an addon would be better.

just upload a generated Faircamp Site to a folder of the HZ Cloud (with "allowed code" enabled by the admin) and you will see a result... just have to fix the links so that they load the index pages...

I love the look of it! From an accessibility perspective, the contrast isn't great. You could either a) make the content area a solid color (black or white) w/ high-contrast text, or b) choose a darker image. The pink is especially problematic, although I like how it looks. :)
But that's only cause you asked for opinions...my underlying opinion is "Faircamp is awesome, and your
#faircamp
site is awesome!!" AND it has lots of crazy cool music!

I wasn't aware of a cart add-on. Is that what you use to sell your releases on your own HZ page?
