[Feature Request 2.] Add connection in multiple places
Adding connections via channel handles is currently a little too ‘hidden’ or simply too inconspicuous. Its position at the top of the content area as an inconspicuous ‘+ Add Button’ is easily overlooked, especially by newcomers to Hubzilla. They then simply do not know how to easily add a connection to a channel whose handle they know (which they may have copied from the profile of another Fediverse service).
However, there is a ‘Follow’ widget that displays the dialogue for establishing a connection.
I think it would be good to display this widget in various app views (via the respective pdl file of the module) in the sidebar as default. I think the ‘Connections’ app, the “HQ” app, and the ‘Stream’ app would be useful places for this. These are the places where a user is most likely to want to add a connection quickly and easily.
