Cool, so Berlin has a new left-wing Mayor. If she can create a coalition with the green party and the social democrats. In fact the latter are the biggest culprit, as they just totally suck about getting their brains into the now. But together this can work. Let's see about that.
A bigger issue in the way is Berlins state institutions, which any new mayor/government has to deal with. They are absolute amateurs oftenly, living in a buerocratic space from a 100 years ago. They fired most experts, and rely on external, commercial consulting, when it comes to really knowing how special things work. Very bad. Payment every time, but no insights to gain from internally.
