eric st-laurent I'd like to recommend John Kameel Farah + Nick Fraser on "Farahser", a brilliantly brief study on piano, drums and electronics, that goes anywhere between far-translated baroque music (you won't recognize it anymore), (hearing even Olivier Messiaen), "contemporary" jazz, not the kind, where players celebrate themselves rather than music itself. -> "players that thrive in spontaneous settings, but whose main artistic focus lies beyond improvised music as a codified genre."
