Listening to sketches + recordings in
#mono. It's great, for it let's you hear more music than sound. Loving it, even do to panning.
This, while setting up a bit meter/crusher in
#Plugdata. Then I realized, that a bit meter there makes absolutely no sense, because Plugdata is 32 bit float.
Brew ha ha. Ahem. Uhm,
since I already had the logics figured out I just used it now to run recordings of
@lee and myself through my newborn bit crusher, which has all kinds of features, that f.i. a Reaper JS one doesn't have, so you can tame the thing to a musical level, you know unlike any kid using this type of sound degradation.
... feels like listening to a number of failing electrical components.
