Biesentales 109 - Kill for peace - now up in archive:

With Fediverse artist contributions by @Jules Rawlinson, @Elif Yalvac and @Robert Logan. Thanks to @inpc for the Coltrane with the lone percussionist.

Listen, incl. all past episodes
https://archive.org/details/biesentales-109
Track listing (.md file), or see end of post:
https://archive.org/download/biesentales-109/Biesentales%20109%20-%20Kill%20for%20peace.md

Hosted by @*jayrope . Rough at times, beats, samples, scratching, generative music, but then also ballads, modular psychedelic-ish band tracks, cut-ups, modular synth improvs... Often dense. Added some thunder from various field recordings ... = the usual multi-focussed "unusual crossover"-approach to side-tracked radio "entertainment". Enjoy.

Suggestion: Commercial streaming sites kill human artists. Cancel subscriptions, and use the budget directly for an artist played here.
Listen + download on #Mirlo, #Faircamp, #Bandcamp, some have physical media.

@biesentales @jrp super pleased to be included among some great artists and tracks. Yield Point is my personal favourite of my releases, so when people play things from that it really makes my day!

Contains fediverse artists again, namely @Flavigula , @The Liquid Clear + @Nathan Ho (again)

Overall this time: #Experimental / #MexicanAvantgarde / #Ambient / #FreeRock / #KenyanAcousticGuitar / #FieldRecordings / #ElectronicMusic
Styles partly clashing, though mostly calm + wide. Who knows, what finds a route to come up then. Diving to deeper depths might need to be prepared well.
- Natalia Pérez Turner RIP.

Note: A minor drink budget can instead be spared for an artist played here.

Biesentales 106 - Unwinding gaps & bridges - is up on our archive (uhm, late again) for your listening pleasure - hosted by @*_jߍyrope

Track listing:

Contains fediverse artists, namely @Graham Dunning, @Nathan Ho + @Robert Logan

Overall this time: #AvantGarde / #Experimental / #Folk / #Jazz / #MathRock / #Glitch / #Generative #Leftfield
Percussion-ladden at first, then jazz, electro-acoustic and experimental music, continuing academically ironic, then 8bit glitchy, concluding with Polish math rock & Welsh solo guitar folk from the dark side and North American leftfield. You know, no gaps, no bridges.

Please remember: Commercial streaming sites kill human artists.
Leave them, now.
A typical minor drinking budget always loves to find it's way instead to an artist played here. Music is the better drug. Get the track listing from the link above and then listen + download on #Faircamp, #Mirlo, Bandcamp. Also find physical media there.

Enjoy!

This one is not on Mixcloud. Having problems there.

Biesentales-106 cover, shows an artwork of a local German artist, which is a rectangular yellow box with rounded corners on a weathered wooden planked wall, containing many rounded paper roll elements to make insects go in and nest in them. Covered by barbwire, so predators can't pick into it all too well.

@biesentales @jrp Thank you very much for the inclusion. It is an honour to be among such artists / fediverse composers.

I am probably just being dense, however, but I can't seem to access either the listening or track listing links. I'd love to have a listen!

All my very best…🙏

In the "permanent absence of absolute harmony": Wonderous springtime findings, partly contradictory, loving each other in new ways. Leftfield, jazz, European drum fever, ambient, oriental, avantgarde and electro-acoustic music. Has a track of @Flavigula as well! Sorry for the late upload.

Biesentales 104 is up - "A lot, or a not to take in" - hosted by @*_jߍyrope
Mixed pickles, apparently liking each other.
Analogue dub, synth ambient, diy solo percussion from Berlin, excerpts of a free solo sax impro by @Wilson , contemporary double percussion/pianos/electronics, an experimental folk guitar/synth interplay by @Undiddley, and more folky complex solo guitar from Spain & New Jersey, French math rock ... etc. Enjoy!

Newly released jazz, hauntingly talking about recent political & social developments (Chicago and Geneva), field recording interludes, then lost & found again improvised percussion & brass, art music, Germany & US. Afterwards Hungarian minimal contemporary classical music & computer music from the Hungarotron series, finally concluded by MZUI, an art gallery soundrack. Also contains jazz from the Fediverse, a driving piece by @Johann, patate rapide.

Irreversible Entanglements... what a force!

And then, Tamas Ungvary! This all drowning flood of sound waves is from 1984 btw.! Unbelievable!

And there's more. Like Bruce Gilbert and Graham Lewis (from 1981 no less - even more unbelievable... and a rarity btw.) will wire you in.

Very tasty selection for all those who are kinda fed up with conventional music. I'm seriously impressed; touched even. No kidding.

Thank you @jayrope@mastodon.online !!
