I thought about adding this to my 20 albums. I do like it quite a bit. I saw it performed live in Dresden in 2008. Reich was in the ensemble.

Listening to Alëna Korolëva's Soundscape composition "Premonitions". While she emphasizes uncertainty to be one of the driving forces behind her work it certainly fits marvelously into a lush summer afternoon over here in Biesenthal. Great work.

Bastiaan Maris, with organ pipes driven by propane burners, possibly at Tacheles Berlin in the 1990s. It's called the "Heater".

Quite brilliant electroacoustic music, very concrete/tangible and self-story-telling - it even get's comical at times.
Pleasantly uses almost no reverb, too ;)
Mastered well by Giuseppe Ielasi, who tends to work a lot of good stuff.

I find it fascinating, how sound today is so much more perfec, but looses its focus so often in neutrality and frequency representation. Today it rarely gets to have the immense warmth, humbleness, even when only trying to represent a natural picture without post processing or electronic processing.

@Rafael Lozano-Hemmer has written a "Brief Chronology of Technological Culture in Mexico"
mentioning Raúl Pavón Sarrelangue's (1928-2008) "Omnifón", a probably half-modular synth he built himself in 1964 in Mexico.
